ReliaMed 4 Layer Compression Bandage System

Safe and effective compression therapy for managing venous leg ulcers and related conditions. An appropriate primary dressing should be applied before using the bandaging system with open wounds. Four bandages work together to provide effective, sustained compression for up to seven days when applied as directed. Produces sub-bandage pressure at the ankle when the system is wrapped as indicated. Includes: Layer one (padding bandage, 4" x 3.8 yds. unstretched), a comfortable, nonwoven layer that absorbs wound exudate and protects bony prominences. Layer two (crepe bandage, 4" x 4.9 yds. stretched) anchors and smooths padding layer while absorbing exudate. Layer three (compression bandage, 4" x 9.5 yds. stretched) provides about half of the system's compression and contours to the body. Layer four (cohesive bandage, 4" x 6.5 yds. stretched) adheres to itself and secures all layers in the bandaging system without tape. In addition to the four-layer bandages, three tape strips are included to secure each of the first three layers. Caution: Do not use if the ABP (ankle brachial pressure) is less than 0.8 or if arterial disease
is suspected.
